An insight on how sea cargo industry has improved after the post-war era

1950 was a period of economic recovery in Europe after the deadly World War II. A huge social and economic change occurred in the era of 1960. This period gave the methodology to people to shift on modernization.

Almost a visible revolution occurred in lifestyle and many things replaced others like colour television arrived, direct dialing reached in place of switchboards and in air travel, an enormous change exposed in the form of Boeing 747. Transport and shipping were also changing rapidly.

This was the period of modification in Europe. Queen Elizabeth II first started work on the cruise ships new group.

The first giant crude ship was brought by IHI shipyard Japan and first intercontinental cargo container delivery was started by Malcom MacLean. These were the brilliant alterations in the Europe in 1960 to onward. 1960s was the period of raising the living standard.

Through political thoughts trade was seen the deficit in this period which was the vital element for the economy of UK. 1960 a rational epoch of European state was ending and new part of the shipment was globalized.

This was the outcome of people of Asia and Africa who desired freedom and the establishment of EU. World’s dominant economic power US delivered a political regulator on the doctrines of free trade, which was introduced in 1944 at the Bretton Woods conference and quickly flourishing continental companies achieved the change. The trade was remarkable and inspiring in this time.

Since 1960 to 2015 sea trade has been increased six- fold, from 1.6 billion tons to 10.3 billion tons. Numerous developments agreed to generate a comprehensive economic structure that formed this record of continuous economic growth.

These involved the communication revolution, establishment of globalized markets, and appearance of global free trade policy.

In 1965, the shipping industry was busy in the formation of the new transportation system. The ambition was to decrease the transport cost stimulated the replacement of cargo liners, which had served shipping loyally for a century with bigger containers to transport freight into the continental.
